CARRIX backpack:
- Carrix is built to carry up to 20kg ( A modified and reinforced machine is available for heavier loads ). Do not overload.
- If you do not own a Carrix backpack, use a backpack compatible with the shape of the Carrix.
- Do not have loose items floating in the bag, the load must be tight and firm.
- Rest and adjust the bag well in the middle of the nacelle ( Velcro to velcro with the Carrix backpack ) to make for perfect load distribution.
- The back strap must go behind and over the crossbar before connecting with the bottom strap on top of the bag.
- Adjust and fasten the extra strap laterally to secure the bag.
- When you pack your bag, remember, the lower the centre of gravity, the easier it will be to balance and pull the Carrix along.

CARRIX on the go:
- To start walking with your loaded Carrix, hold the handles firmly until you gather speed and find your balance.
- Gently, relax your grip until you are able to guide the Carrix with a light touch on the handles and get the hang of it.
- On approach of an obstacle, grab the handles firmly, negotiate the obstacle and repeat the starting process.
- At any time, if you feel the machine drifting away during your walk, grab the handles firmly and get the balance right.

CARRIX tips and maintenance:
- Check for wear and tear in screws, bolts, straps and clasps.
- Make sure the stainless steel wheel's shaft is well lubricated.
- Think of a small repair kit ( A piece of string or wire, a small adjustable wrench, a screwdriver, a spare clasp, some bolts and screws, a wheel lubricant, etc ) to bring along. Carrix toolkit available.
- Keep the nacelle ( Carrying platform ) stretched at all time.
- To prevent the tubes coming apart, fasten the straps firmly in place.
- Both clasps are to be used in the correct position ( Not to be used for climbing ).
